Node.js Engineer

A U.S.-based company that makes it possible for developers to create and maintain enterprise-grade applications without writing any code, is looking for a Node.js Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of creating back-end services for different business processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The company is significantly altering how businesses design, deploy, and maintain custom apps while simultaneously increasing employee and corporate efficiency. During their Series C round, the company managed to secure $362mn+ in funding. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the ET time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain all server-side network components
• Make sure the main database runs as efficiently as possible and that the front end responds quickly
• Work together with front-end developers to integrate each component
• Write tested, reusable, and effective code to create high-performance apps

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Demonstrable experience working with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
• Prior experience with GraphQL is preferred
• Nice to have some experience with databases like MongoDB and NoSQL
• Great English communication skills, both spoken and written
