Job description

A fast-growing company making a paradigm shift in the industry with a centralized platform for hybrid and online clinical trials is looking for a Mobile Software Developer. This position is ideal for developers who are passionate about mobile technologies and want to work on the cutting edge of iOS and Android app development. Job Responsibilities:

  • Optimize performance for the apps
  • Direct the whole app lifecycle right from the ideation down to delivery and post-launch support
  • Perform exceptionally in both individual and team capacity
  • Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test, and realize products
  • Compile necessities around functionality and transform them into elegant, functional solutions
  • Collaborate with the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
  • Produce captivating device-specific UI/UX
  • Regularize the platform to deliver across numerous brands with the least effort
  • Stay informed on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
  • Experience in the healthcare/Lifescience industry is desirable

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years experience in developing mobile applications in Android or iOS
  • Demonstrable skills in cross-platform mobile app development
  • Core competency in iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Xcode, Objective C, and Encryption
  • Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/J2ME)
  • Familiar with the Android SDK
  • Conversant with SQLite, MySQL, or similar database management system
  • Hands-on skills in web service integration like SOAP, REST, JSON, and XML
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills
  • Experience with Bluetooth device integration is a plus
