Job description

An influential trailblazer in artificial intelligence, dedicated to creating more reliable and interpretable AI, is currently seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer. This role calls for a seasoned expert to helm a team of DevOps professionals focused on deploying and validating high-caliber AI technologies. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for driving innovation and operational excellence in complex, cloud-based environments. The organization is working on research and safety solutions for AI and creating steerable, dependable, and interpretable systems. Job Responsibilities:

Oversee and assist a DevOps team in creating scalable, robust cloud infrastructure and procedures to verify the results of artificial intelligence
Create and run Python, Bash, and shell scripts to expedite validation procedures and enhance CI/CD pipelines
Define KPIs for the AI system's performance and dependability, put best practices into effect, and develop operational strategies
Lead efforts for continual improvement while remaining abreast of developments in system automation, cloud architecture, and AI validation methods
Work together with AI development and research teams to include DevOps best practices and offer suggestions for improving the system

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
Prior experience working with Kubernetes
In-depth knowledge as an expert in at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP), including operational experience with the other two
Demonstrable scripting skills in Shell, Python, and Bash
Some experience with YAML, k8s, and Jenkins is desirable
Prior experience leading and guiding DevOps teams in a high-paced, innovative environment
Solid understanding of AI systems and output validation is desirable
Familiarity with security best practices, scalability, and reliable infrastructure design
Outstanding team leadership qualities combined with excellent teamwork and communication abilities
Be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills who can make important choices under duress
Fluent in spoken and written English communication
