Data Software Engineer

An NYSE-listed company that fuels the media industry by helping businesses gain insights on their audience, is looking for a Data Software Engineer. The developer will work on building and optimizing the data warehouse solution. The company's retail and consumer data platform offers a thorough insight into businesses' target audience, allowing them to identify critical opportunities and build relevant content. This will be a long-term, full-time position and requires at least 8 hours of overlap with the ADT time zone. It is an exciting opportunity for smart, driven individuals experienced in working with a variety of technologies and tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write applications from the ground up using popular industry frameworks and languages
• Work actively across teams according to your interests
• Deploy code to cutting-edge infrastructure: Docker orchestration with Kubernetes 
• Help design the backbone of the applications with AWS
• Experience the end to end lifecycle of the next-generation data flows for a market-leading product
• Contribute to the development of data visualizations by transferring discrete datasets to a robust, cloud-hosted data warehousing solution 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant data or software engineering experience 
• Established programming and data warehouse experience
• Extensive experience working with AWS, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Go, Scala, etc.
• Skilled with Spring, Angular, React, and other related frameworks
• Nice to have some knowledge of Node.js, Redshift, Superset, Spark, and Terraform
• Prolific DevOps experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
