Job description

A well-established company that is developing an intuitive financial trading platform while leveraging modern technologies, is looking for a Data Scientist. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective data storage, processing, and retrieval, design and maintenance of the Azure Data Lake architecture. The company’s innovative platform is enabling investors, traders, and other customers to efficiently grow their finances. Job Responsibilities:

  • For the analysis of huge datasets and the extraction of useful insights, develop and apply advanced analytics models using Python and the Azure data services package
  • Utilize your knowledge of analytics to spot trends, patterns, and development prospects while making data-driven suggestions to boost output
  • Work together to define corporate goals, identify data needs, and create analytics solutions with cross-functional teams from marketing, sales, and product development
  • Utilizing the Azure data services package, create and implement data pipelines, ETL procedures, and data integration solutions
  • Find useful data sources and automate the data collection process as well as pre-process data, both structured and unstructured
  • Create and implement analytics solutions using the appropriate tools
  • Make sure that analytics models, data pipelines, and data infrastructures are documented and kept up to date
  • Present facts and insights in reports and visualizations that are clear and succinct to stakeholders, including senior management
  • Analyze and assess the performance of the data infrastructure and analytics models continuously, and make necessary modifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6-10+ years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist
  • 8-10+ years of knowledge and experience on marketing analytics
  • Demonstrable experience working with Python and experience with data manipulation
  • Prior experience with data analysis, and visualization libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn
  • Solid understanding of and experience with Azure data services suite, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Machine Learning
  • Prior experience designing and implementing ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques and operations research
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing analytics methods like ROI analysis, attribution modeling, and consumer segmentation
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities, including the capacity to convey difficult ideas to non-technical stakeholders
  • Outstanding problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, together with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to operate both individually and jointly in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace
  • Strong business sense, analytical thinking, and math capabilities
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication skills
