The selected candidate will be in charge of developing and executing models, algorithms, and tools to draw conclusions and information from data. The company uses cutting-edge technology to support project coordination, collaboration, asset management, risk mitigation, logistic planning, and cost optimization. Job Responsibilities:

  • Use data visualization tools and approaches to share findings and insights with stakeholders
  • Create and put into action data-driven solutions for business challenges
  • Build and use models for machine learning and statistics to glean insights from data
  • Employ machine learning algorithms and prediction models to foresee trends and outcomes
  • Assist software and data engineers in deploying and scaling algorithms and data models
  • Investigate data patterns, trends, and anomalies using exploratory data analysis
  • Create tools and techniques to clean, convert, and preprocess huge datasets
  • Work together with cross-functional teams to pinpoint issues and opportunities in the business where data can be used to provide insights and impact
  • Maintain a constant learning process and keep abreast of the most recent developments in data science and machine learning

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a data scientist
  • Extensive knowledge of statistical and ML techniques
  • Demonstrable experience working with programming languages like Python, R, or Java
  • Prior experience working with data visualization tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Extensive experience with data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Hive is desirable
  • Strong understanding of deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch is preferred
  • Nice to have a good understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Some familiarity with back-end technologies like Graph QL, Sage Maker, Python, TypeScript, .NET Core, and .NET MVC
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, React, Flutter, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
  • Solid understanding of Invision, Figma, and Photoshop
  • Basic understanding of MsSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, S3, and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GitHub, Postman, Jira, and Linux
  • Extensive experience with natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics is desirable
  • Exceptional knowledge of data mining and data exploration techniques is preferred
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms is desirable
  • Nice to have some experience with software development best practices, like version control, testing, and debugging
  • Ability to work independently and accept responsibility for allocated duties is preferable
  • Passion for data science and eagerness to learn new technologies and skills is nice to have
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills is desirable
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets is desirable
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
