Job description

A well-established financial firm leading global investment services for top-tier clients around the world is looking for a Back-End Python Application Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with documenting and sharing the work done to support the existing team long-term. The NYSE-listed company works closely with global partners and clients on investment strategies that bring quantifiable results and deliver superior outcomes. Job Responsibilities:

Empower and mentor other developers within the team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers and developers to architect a simple application UI for the customers
Develop software with modern-day features for a better user experience
Design, develop, maintain, and monitor the products

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
3+ years of experience working with SQL in relational databases such as SQL Server, Sybase, or Oracle
At least 3+ years of experience in Python and its core quant libraries, including pandas, NumPy, and Scipy
Prolific experience with Docker and Kubernetes is nice to have
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent in written and verbal English communication
