Job description

A fast-growing company that is determined to build a state-of-the-art platform that enables amateurs to build software easily, is looking for a Tech Lead. The selected candidate will play an instrumental role in taking the company’s products to the next level while efficiently leading a team. The company's AI-powered platform is designed to help customers across all fields and expertise to build and operate software projects. The company has managed to secure $190mn+ during their Series C round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a sizable team of full-stack engineers and help growing engineers to advance in their careers
  • Work in close collaboration with a team of highly empowered, experienced engineers 
  • Build high-performance and globally scalable applications
  • Work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Plan tasks, hold design discussions, and oversee the team's code reviews
  • Contribute technically by creating new features, fixing operational problems, and simplifying processes
  • Deliver creative solutions to advance business objectives in close collaboration with other team leads, engineers, data operations, product managers, and business stakeholders

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of Ruby on Rails
  • Prior experience leading a team of engineers in people management and technical affairs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English
