Job description

A U.S-based company that is revolutionizing the finance industry by providing business intelligence and data visualization services, among many others, is looking for a .NET Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for engaging in architecture and code review discussions. The company provides solutions for enterprise resource planning and performance management reporting. This will be a long-term and full-time role. The company has managed to raise close to $800 mn in funding successfully. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, establish, and test the Certent Disclosure Management financial reporting solution software
  • Write testable, efficient, and reusable code to architect and create online programs
  • Put your expertise to use by adding to the overall solution architecture
  • Create maintainable, extendable, and reusable code by writing clean, elegant, and reusable code
  • Proactively address impending problems and resolve technical difficulties
  • Contribute concepts to the roadmap for the product development
  • Participate in conversations about architecture and code reviews
  • Cooperate closely with the Product Management, UX, QA, and Backend coworkers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 2+ years of experience designing and developing applications using .Net framework, .Net Core, C#
  • 2+ years of experience designing and developing SaaS applications using distributed systems
  • Proven experience using ORMs, Entity Framework, or NHibernate  
  • Proven experience using relational DBMS and MS SQL Server preferred
  • Previous experience with microservices, REST APIs, or WCF
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps (TFS), and/or Git is nice to have
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, comfortable with iterative SDLC (Scrum based) is a plus
  • Understanding of design patterns and n-tiers architectures is nice to have
  • Experience in consuming APIs, working with large sets of data, and asynchronous code execution is a plus
  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining complex, and scalable applications
  • Previous experience with ASP.NET Core is a plus
  • Self-starter that can come up to speed on the existing solution and take ownership of different parts of the application
  • Understanding of web applications including security, session management, and best practices 
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Proficiency in English
