Job description

A US-based company that is providing remarkable post-purchase experiences to help businesses accelerate their brand’s growth, is looking for a Lead Software Engineer. The engineer will be expected to take part in the code review process with other engineers. The company is revolutionizing the e-commerce industry and transitioning it from a cost center to a growth engine. The company has managed to raise $20mn+ during their Series A round of funding. This is a full-time long-term position and requires a significant overlap with the PST/EST/CST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to take over an agile team and be responsible for the managing team
  • Assist in building out features with the team
  • Deliver features in collaboration with software architect
  • Participate in daily virtual team meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 8-12+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in Ruby, Java, and Python/Django 
  • Solid understanding of tech stack designed to solve problems
  • Ability to understand stack and use that to solve business domain
  • Proven track record of leadership from a technical point of view
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
