Job description

A fast-growing company that is developing world-class solutions and apps to help improve people’s quality of life is looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer. The engineer will be creating and implementing user interface elements for the Android and iOS platforms using React Native. The company is vetting dieticians and working with insurance to provide patients with individualized nutrition plans. Job Responsibilities:

Work together on the definition, design, and delivery of new features with cross-functional teams
Generate code that is clear, effective, and easy to maintain while following industry standards
Verify the applications' responsiveness, performance, and quality
Debug and fix technical problems with the applications' front-end
Keep up with the most recent advancements in front-end technologies and frameworks by conducting ongoing research
To achieve a smooth user experience, collaborate closely with the design team
Engage in code reviews and make a contribution to team standards development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Ensure the performance and quality of the applications

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a mobile engineer
5+ years of professional expertise creating mobile applications for the iOS and Android platforms utilizing React Native
Strong knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React Native
Knowledge of mobile device responsive design and development
Ability to use contemporary programming methods to create clean, effective, and maintainable code
In-depth knowledge of integrating web services and RESTful APIs
Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
Working knowledge of agile development environments
Solid understanding of version control systems and GitHub
Demonstrable experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Extensive experience building and deploying iOS and Android builds using relevant tools and technologies
Nice to have some knowledge of native Android or iOS development
Experience with TypeScript as well as automated testing frameworks is desirable
Fluent in spoken and written English communication
