Job description

Client is looking for an Infrastructure Dev w/ financial services experience. Number of YOE is not strict as long as they have really solid experience with at least 2 projects like this. (Need at least 2 YOE though). Budget is not a concern and there is no cap on budget - they are really focused on quality GEO: South America (preferred and Europe) Required skills: Python, OMSes Preferred skills: NumPy/Pandas Full JD: We are looking a developer to augment our external utilities team. Our project involves integrating with an external Order Management System (OMS) provider, using their provided API. Our ideal candidate has experience working either on OMSes themselves or integrating in a similar manner with vendor OMSes. In addition, this developer is very comfortable (advanced-expert) in the Python ecosystem and preferably with the NumPy/Pandas stack as well. Finally, our ideal candidate is very comfortable writing in a test-driven style and working within an Agile-like sprint framework. Project info: Middleware layer functioning as an order management system Primarily will provide an API to clients to perform actions that it will log in a database and then transform into actions it performs on its target end where we have an API from an external counter party They will be Translating actions from a client into actions it has to take to perform those actions on the counter party system Specifically managing internal state of orders that trade in financial markets
