Job description

A leading professional networking intelligence and relationship platform connecting people and companies together, is looking for a Google Cloud DevOps Engineer. The engineer will utilize solid expertise in cloud services (GCP) to build infrastructures and configure various services, including compute, storage, CI/CD, etc. The platform focuses on developing, enriching, and enhancing professional networks to help users achieve their mission and generate trusted, relevant relationships. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated success using modern DevOps methods and tools, including automated testing tools, monitoring tools, and be capable of handling competing deadlines and demands.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, build and Deploy applications to streamline the deployment and operational reliability
  • Compare, evaluate, and implement new features and technologies
  • Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against threats

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • 1+ year of programming or scripting experience
  • Demonstrable experience of Linux administration and automation scripting
  • Experience working within an Agile environment
  • Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools
  • Experience working in a high-paced startup environment (or desire to work in one) in industries like Computer Software, Information Technology, and Services, Internet, Financial Services, Research, Marketing, and Advertising
  • Strong critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to assess the requirements and environment and suggest right tools/technologies
  • Experience automating application/system/environment deployment
