Job description

A rapidly-growing company building an end-to-end contract-automation platform for next-gen businesses is looking for a Front-End Tech Lead. The selected candidate will be in charge of building an AI-based, fully responsive interface for the product. The company’s advanced solutions is tapping into the power of state-of-the-art technologies to help businesses streamline contracting within their organization. The company has managed to securely raise $2mn+ during their Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be in charge of the design and implementation efforts
  • Interact with various engineering, product, sales, QA, and customer success teams to ensure the best customer experience in the shortest time possible
  • Understand business issues and go over design documents
  • Give technical direction in the form of best practices and processes
  • Identify bottlenecks and manage the software architecture to enable the team to move quickly
  • Create new user-facing features and ensure a prompt delivery
  • Create reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the UI/UX designs are technically feasible
  • Optimize the application for maximum performance and scalability
  • Conduct code and design reviews

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end software developer
  • Must have experience with web markup that includes HTML and CSS3 and preprocessors like SASS and webpack
  • Experience leading a team in a technical capacity 
  • Must have expertise using at least one JavaScript framework such as Angular8+, ReactJS, etc.
  • Understanding of asynchronous JavaScript concepts like promises and how they apply to request handling & data flow in complex applications
  • Experience with Redux or similar Client-side State Management tools 
  • Must be able to show a portfolio of side-projects
  • Experience building large-scale web applications
