Job description

A US-based company that offers intelligent and secure technology for real-time payments is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer. As an engineer, you will be instrumental in developing, improving, deploying, and operating the production infrastructure of the patented account-to-account push-payment solution. The company is committed to helping businesses eliminate large chunks of their payment processing costs and build amazing non-custodial payment experiences. Candidates who are experienced and passionate about working with startups are highly suited for this role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for the DevOps group
  • Build and document scalable, efficient, and large cloud infrastructure through automation and IaC
  • Develop, perform tests and code reviews, and strengthen internal cloud infrastructure applications
  • Solve incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant DevOps engineering experience as a
  • Minimum of 3 years consistent track record of success and valuable contributions to an organization
  • Solid expertise in cloud DevOps engineering with a strong background in AWS
  • Experience working within an Agile and SOC-Compliant Software Development Life Cycle
  • A passion for developing DevOps solutions with a focus on the increasing infosec demands of fintech and payment software solutions
  • Ability to develop software in Python or other scripting languages
  • Strong working experience with SQL 
  • High-level expertise in networking and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN)
  • Prolific problem-solving skills 
  • Conversant with fault logging, tracking, and resolution
  • Strong IT operational support skills
  • Sound DevOps experience with Cloud Infrastructure along with AWS or Hashicorp certifications
  • Deep System Administration experience with Linux
  • Ability to provide innovative leadership with excellent teamwork
