Job responsibilities

  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure
  • Oversee and continuously upgrade cloud systems
  • Develop security strategies for all cloud-based applications

  • Collaborate with app developers and database administrators to deliver creative solutions
  • Implement cloud-based APIs for safeguarding cloud-based applications
  • Document all technical requirements regarding cloud architecture

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of industry experience as a cloud security engineer (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
  • Thorough understanding of Linux and Microsoft operating systems.

  • Thorough understanding of Linux and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Proficiency in C++, C#, Java, Python, VB, and .NET.
  • Expertise in AWS Cloud Services (EC2, DynamoDB, API Gateway, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.)
  • Experience working with test automation technologies like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, etc.
  • Knowledge of integrating REST APIs and third-party libraries
  • Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
  • Work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Proficient understanding of DevOps and CI/CD tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with multi-disciplinary teams
