Job description

A U.S.-based company that is determined to introduce advanced AI-based pharmaceutical molecule discovery to other sectors, is looking for a Cloud/DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of developing and maintaining software and cloud-related products. The company specializes in the discovery of novel compounds for consumer health applications and then uses these new components to develop superior products. This is a great opportunity for developers to work with industry experts and quickly climb up the company ladder. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve tricky performance and architectural problems
  • Modify the DevOps process, record the process, and provide feedback
  • Support data engineer teams and work with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain, develop, and suggest changes to the infrastructure

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • 3+ years of experience working with Cloud services like AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • At least 3+ years of experience with Terraform and Docker
  • Demonstrable expertise in handling JIRA tickets and workflows, as well as setting up GCP instances and permissions
  • Prior experience utilizing GitHub Actions to set up and manage a CI/CD pipeline
  • Some prior ML Ops experience is nice to have
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
