Job description

A US-based company that delivers instant commerce and satisfying post-purchase experiences that help businesses accelerate their growth is looking for a Senior Python Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks. The company is transforming e-commerce from what is traditionally seen as a cost center into a growth engine by combining advancements in operations, marketing, and technology. They have managed to raise more than $20mn during their Series A round. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to build easy-to-understand solutions
  • Comprehend project requirements and implement solutions
  • Understand essentials and carry on an agreed schedule
  • Script reusable and efficient codes
  • Look into regular code reviews for improving and evolving applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Python engineer
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of working with Python or Django
  • Knowledge of unit testing is essential
  • Experience in working with global teams and professionals from different backgrounds
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and decisions independently 
  • Should possess expertise in communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams
