Ruby on Rails Developer

The developer will help solve the issues related to the platform like slow load time, timeout, and errors, to name a few. Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze the performance of existing REST/Ruby on Rails endpoints for reporting
• Identify which endpoints are causing issues for customers 
• Resolve problems encountered on the platform like slow response times, error messages, timeouts, reports issues, etc. 
• Remediate reporting errors, improve the Ruby on Rails controller code, and optimize SQL queries
• Potentially modify Aurora/MySQL infrastructure in coordination with the SRE team if needed to improve performance

 Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, React, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with AWS with MySQL is nice to have
• Great communication skills
• Proficiency in English
