Job Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for a lot of early engineering decisions that will impact millions of people using their mobile apps
  • Deliver a top-notch experience to customers and riders, by building the most amazing mobile apps
  • Work closely with the back-end engineers to develop customer, rider, and picker mobile apps
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers and Designers to iterate on the design and implementation of products
  • Ensure quality through close collaboration with the team on code reviews, unit tests, and instrumentation tests
  • Enable other engineers across the company to work more efficiently and productively by sharing best practices, and developing internal tools
  • Identify areas of improvement and advocate for best practices across the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developer with a focus on mobile applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience with React Native
  • Product mindset with regard to performant UI
  • Experience building and monitoring CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
  • Experience debugging large-scale mobile applications, tracing, and analyzing root causes
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
