Job description

A U.S.-based company that is currently operating in stealth mode while developing their flagship product is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer. The engineer will be pioneering the development of new technologies and machine learning models so that the platform can keep evolving. The company is developing an innovative digital platform that helps customers in setting up, running, and maximizing their startup communities. The company has managed to successfully secure $648K+ during their Pre-Seed round of funding.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop revolutionary concepts and enhance the current systems by using creative thinking and experimentation
  • Take the initiative in decision-making on the use of AI and ML in various business areas
  • Develop scalable, production-ready solutions by working with other engineers and data scientists to build machine-learning algorithms
  • Develop ML models and conduct in-depth data analysis to address challenging business issues
  • Test, fix, and refine machine learning systems' accuracy and effectiveness over time
  • Create self-improving machine learning systems (flywheels) to boost efficiency and the learning potential of iterative processes
  • Utilize user input to improve machine learning models and algorithms
  • Improve user interaction with the AI platform by tweaking the AI prompts

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Machine Learning engineer
  • Extensive working knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, Artificial Intelligence, and other related technologies
  • Prolific experience working with various ML frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
  • Excellent command of Python and other programming languages that are important to AI/ML
  • Demonstrable experience working with SQL or similar databases and data processing tools
  • Ability to make important judgments under duress while working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent conversational and written English communication skills
