Job description

A U.S.-based company that has created a non-profit organization to educate young girls about computer programming and digital technology, is looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for organizing, planning, and executing deployments in various environments including development, testing, and production. Through the introduction of technology and computer programming skills, the company aims to provide opportunities for young women of color to actively participate in the modern tech industry as creators and innovators. Additionally, the company has successfully raised over $430K in funding, ensuring its financial stability.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build functional apps by converting application storyboards and use cases
  • Develop, implement, and maintain dependable, efficient code
  • Ensure that applications perform, are of high quality, and are responsive to user input
  • Determine any bugs and bottlenecks, then come up with ways to deal with them

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Prolific experience working with React and Node.js
  • Some familiarity with Data Engineering
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication
