Job description

A fast-growing company developing an AI-based customer service platform that offers solutions to a large number of Fortune 500 companies in resolving customer service inquiries is looking for a Java Developer. The developer will contribute to the architecture and build-out of large-scale high-performance web applications. The platform is highly efficient in responding instantly and autonomously to over 50% of a company’s customer service tickets across various messaging channels. The company is Y-Combinator and VC-backed with over $20 mn+ in funding. This will be a great chance for developers to join a well-funded company working globally with firms across several industries, including Retail, Travel & Hospitality, Telecommunications, Finance, etc., to create frictionless experiences for customers.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build reusable components and libraries for future use 
  • Optimize application for optimal performance and scalability
  • Develop and produce highly reliable infrastructures at scale
  • Collaborate well with engineering teams to articulate requirements and system design

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Expert skills in Java programming 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Proficiency with high coding standards and familiarity with design patterns
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
