Job description

An innovative social-music discovery platform building a one-of-its-kind product is looking for an iOS Software Engineer. The engineer will help the company to build out a top-tier engineering team to continue developing the mobile application. The company empowers a community of music enthusiasts to discover, share, and experience music together. Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and refine high-performance applications that push the limits of mobile technology
  • Ideate, develop, and launch new features
  • Carefully analyze the technical tradeoffs of each decision
  • Work with the design and products teams to produce the best user experience
  • Engage in code reviews to guarantee codebase quality and maintainability
  • Write unit and functional tests to ensure the ongoing quality of the mobile apps

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as an iOS software engineer
  •  Prolific experience working with Swift, Firebase, AWS, and Java
  • Extensive experience shipping high-quality products and features at scale
  • Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
  • Familiarity with software design patterns and iOS best practices, including performance optimization
  • Proven experience in developing mobile applications with Swift iOS development
  • Some experience working on algorithms for music recommendations is nice to have
  • Knowledge of the OS internals, compilers, and optimization for low-power and mobile systems is desirable
  • Nice to have some experience with C/C++
