Job description

A US-based company building modern products to help people from the LGBTQ+ communities connect and thrive, is looking for an iOS Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be working with the Founder/CEO and responsible for developing the mobile platform to engage several users. The social networking platform creates a fun, safe, and happier ecosystem for users to meet people online and in person. This will be a full-time position requiring some overlap with the PST time zone and an exciting opportunity to work in a niche industry.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and scale the mobile application to deliver a high-performance system and highly engaging UI
  • Lead prototypes of new ideas and explore new technologies at the forefront of mobile development
  • Take ownership of end-to-end product quality
  • Define the future architecture of the iOS platform while providing technical and product expertise

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an iOS engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Swift (UI Kit) and Firebase/Firestore
  • Willingness to work some unusual hours for sync-ups
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a can-do attitude
  • Fluent in verbal and non-verbal English
