Job description

A multi-national sports entertainment company with over 50 business entities and the most diverse portfolio of multimedia sports assets is looking for an iOS Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for redesigning the mobile application to provide a better user experience. The company is an indirect subsidiary of an NYSE-listed company that has raised more than $10bn in funding and has over 10,000 employees globally. The selected candidate will work as part of the high-performance team to develop innovative solutions that serve business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Enhancing, redesigning, and reimagining the mobile application in order to provide a high-performance system with an engaging user interface
While optimizing and modularizing code, critical business modules are distributed
End-to-end product quality ownership, from development to maintenance of core app frameworks that make apps more reliable and enjoyable
Lead the development of new prototypes and the investigation of new technologies at the cutting edge of mobile technology

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
Knowledge of Swift and Objective-C coding
Strong CS and OS fundamentals
Extensive knowledge of UIKit, Core Animation, Auto Layout, and Cocoa Touch
Aptitude to simplify difficult challenges and provide novel solutions that meet corporate needs
A talent for finding solutions and the capacity to function amidst ambiguity
Possession of an entrepreneurial spirit, a bias for action, and the ability to work independently
Proficiency in English
