Job description

A U.S.-based company that aims at offering complete eye disease screening solutions is looking for an iOS Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for enhancing engineering processes in order to boost team effectiveness. The company's mission is to prevent blindness by detecting eye disease early and to build a platform for healthcare data analytics. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the US time zone. The company has managed to raise more than $5 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain efficient and reusable code
  • Improve the engineering processes to increase team effectiveness
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Identify errors and fix bugs in the software applications  
  • Upgrade, test, and deploy software with the latest features 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Knowledge of Swift (UIKit and URLSession)
  • Experience with Git/GitHub
  • Familiarity with AWS and Golang is a plus
  • Knowledge of JavaScript is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
