Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is developing an innovative mobile application while leveraging modern technologies is looking for an iOS Developer. The developer will be helping the team to develop a variety of products that are somewhat overlapping but still quite distinct. The company is currently working on building cutting-edge consumer applications. This position requires 4+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain code organization, quality, and automation
  • Work together with the team to define, design, and release new features
  • Make sure applications run flawlessly and are of the highest caliber
  • To increase the effectiveness of development, continually identify, assess, and implement new technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an iOS developer
  • Extensive experience working with Swift for iOS and UI Development (Swift UI and UI Kit)
  • Prolific experience with Firebase
  • Solid understanding and experience with a variety of APIs APIs, eg. Instagram API snaps
  • Familiarity with React Native and Third-party APIs is desirable
  • Prior experience with payments/putting up a pay wall on an app/or experience with similar issues is preferred
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
