Job description

A rapidly-growing startup redefining the tech industry with innovative turn-key solutions is looking for a Front-End Software Engineer. The engineer will join a fast-growing team of talented developers and help build the platform from the ground up. The US-based company invests in high-growth startups and helps businesses in the creative economy. The company has managed to secure $550K in funding so far. Job Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and articulate on the platform features and data for the products
  • Write code with React-Redux and help launch new versions of the software 
  • Review other engineers' code and work on adding improvements where needed
  • Collaborate with back-end engineers to understand the information architecture and define APIs for responsive UIs
  • Own the quality of the code, especially when it is running in production

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-6+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Ability to write meaningful and well-tested code
  • Should have a solid understanding of UX principles
  • Exceptional ability to solve blockchain UX challenges
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/React
  • Demonstrable knowledge and working experience with Ruby, ActiveRecord, Material UI, NextJS, Heroku, and PostgreSQL
  • Should have experience in building a product from scratch or being in the initial front-end team of any startup
  • Extensive experience with blockchain development tools and frameworks like Truffle, Solidity, Web3, and Metamask
  • Should have an interest in building out the infrastructure of a dApp or integration with blockchain
  • Prior experience building, writing, or working in Solidity and Polygon/Matic
