Job description

A fast-growing developer of a search engine platform that enables users to perform searches by prioritizing actual results is looking for a Front-End React Developer. The developer will rapidly ship, iterate on user-facing code and build a high public visibility consumer application. The company's revolutionary technology helps users filter through the noise and negligible information to find results that matter to them. This will be a long-term role, requiring 6+ hours overlap with the PST time zone. It is an exciting opportunity for developers who want to contribute to defining and building a team around a vision and technology with a direct path to improving people's daily lives worldwide.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the product and design teams to give and receive feedback at a rapid pace 
  • Accept and offer feedback politely as part a member of the team
  • Develop and achieve quality front-end code and super-fast load times
  • Comprehend and implement reliable monitoring, deployment strategies, and a highly performant and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Develop and integrate high-quality code, while building a world-class engineering team
  • Participate in collaborative brainstorming and propose novel extensions
  • Contribute actively throughout the process of delivering quality work
  • Collaborate with the team and contribute to defining and building products that meaningfully impact people's lives
  • Participate in building and scaling the product together with the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Extensive knowledge of React.js, Node.js, CSS, and other frameworks
  • Proficiency with scalable, user-facing applications that require complex state management, real-time user events, and intricate UI/UX for multiple platforms
  • Familiarity with designing, implementing, and maintaining production code for the front-end platform 
  • Experience with best practices and patterns that allow skilled engineering teams to communicate effectively and deliver quickly
