Job responsibilities

  • Understand development requirements from project managers to deliver highly responsive web-based user interface and advanced user-facing features
  • Develop reusable, highly efficient front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to finalize front-end development designs

  • Write effective front-end code to ensure product performance, scalability, and security
  • Assist DevOps engineers in implementing testing automation and CI/CD pipelines
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and other team leads to ensure technical and functional product performances
  • Participate in the development stages from conception to completion of technologically sound and aesthetically impressive front-end projects
  • Estimate and guide the team for timely completion of given responsibilities
  • Keep abreast of the latest technology development in web and mobile app development
  • Mentor fellow team members in front-end development best practices

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of experience in front-end development with React (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Proficiency in ReactJS framework with a focus on Redux and Sagas

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model
  • Expertise in Typescript, AngularJS, Java, SpringBoot
  • Sound knowledge of algorithms, data structures, patterns and practices
  • Strong grasp on English language for effective communication
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

  • Experience in unit testing
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as, Bamboo, Github Actions, Jenkins, etc.
  • Solid grasp on Git and other code versioning tools
