Job description

A well-established company that is determined to build better and more environmentally friendly transportation solutions is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for understanding requirements, building relevant solutions, and delivering functionality. The NASDAQ-listed company is utilizing cutting-edge technology to manufacture innovative e-vehicles that will help to control the carbon footprint. So far, the company has successfully managed to secure $10bn+ in funding. This position requires some overlap with the PT time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, test, and release complex mission-critical applications for internally and externally facing software applications 
  • Design and implement frontend code and algorithms using ReactJS and Redux
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA testing, technical product management, and UI/UX design teams, to define application features 
  • Ensure software architecture practices are followed across the team
  • Actively contribute to code and design reviews
  • Perform unit testing to deliver high-quality software

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience with React, Redux, and AWS
  • Nice to have experience with DynamoDB, GraphQL, Cloud Watch, and AppSync
  • Experience with AWS Amplify, Python, and AWS Lambda is preferred
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
