Job description

A fast-paced company operating as a virtually expandable creative studio driven by the world's best creative talent is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and bug-free state of the systems. The company has designed creatives for Marvel, BMW, Gucci, Dyson, and Google, to name a few. This will be an excellent opportunity to work as part of a team that is helping creative people from all over the world to flourish.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Incredibly responsible, constantly delivering excellent work on schedule
  • Work in a professional software engineering environment (source control, dev/stage/prod release cycle, continuous deployment) to write maintainable code with test coverage
  • Assist in the refinement of workflows, the gathering of agreements, and the progression to implementation
  • Define, design, and construct experiences
  • Own production services from start to finish, much like the rest of engineering, and deploy numerous times every week
  • Maintain the systems' health and bug-free status
  • Identify chances to increase the product's efficiency
  • Work with engineers, project managers, and growth managers to determine how the organization can make life simpler
  • Improve the product's reaction speeds, making it wonderfully quick for end consumers
  • Incorporate best practices within the development processes
  • Propose large-scale modifications in well-written specs that explain the challenges, aims, and solutions
  • Take part in design and code reviews

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 4+ years of production-facing application development
  • Knowledge of React.js (including hooks) and Typescript
  • Familiarity with Redux (Sagas) and Next.js
  • Knowledge of Git, HTML5, and CSS3 (Sass)
  • Competency in building and maintaining a complex set of systems
  • Prior working expertise with product leads to deliver promptly
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs
  • Experience with Ruby (RoR)
  • Knowledge of Vercel, Heroku, scrum, and agile methodologies: sprints, boards, etc.
  • Must be a team player
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
