Job description

A leading technology company consisting of a team of technerds and real estate professionals engrossed in innovative search tools, predictive modeling, and 3D listing tours is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will join the team and help build out core sections of the 3D tour viewer. The company is equipping industry professionals with the tools to effectively broker and sell their properties and assisting searchers to find the best places to live and invest by providing a dynamic platform to share and learn. Candidates who want to work in a well-established organization on the path to becoming the leaders of the information technology renaissance in real estate are suitable for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

Creating the core sections of the 3D tour viewer built with Vue and Three.js
Balance quality and performance, and optimize for a wide range of devices
In a fast-paced startup environment, collaborate with a team of designers, developers, and 3D artists to develop exciting new features
Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a frontend engineer
Expertise in JavaScript and frontend UI frameworks is required
Experience with building complex Three.js applications is a must
Must be able to show a portfolio with Three.js applications you have created or worked on
Familiarity with OpenGL/WebGL and managing memory/resources on various devices is nice to have
Experience with writing GLSL Shaders is a bonus
Experience developing AR/VR applications is preferred
Game development experience (Unity, Unreal, etc.) is a bonus
Knowledge of 3D asset creation (modeling, texturing, lighting) with 3D applications (Blender, Maya, etc.) is nice to have
Must be a good communicator and available via slack, phone, and email
