Job description

A US-based company providing direct-to-consumer eCommerce personalized flower arrangements and related services is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing new and maintaining existing front-end features for the platform. The company proudly builds products that bring joy to thousands of people across the country each day. This role requires some overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement APIs consumed by the web application
Play a critical part in realizing the long-term grand vision of the company
Help shape the company culture and build the workplace of your dreams
Collaborate with other engineers to create innovative solutions

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of experience working as a front-end engineer
Prolific experience working with HTML, CSS, Typescript, and React.js
Prior experience working with HTML, which is a template for Ruby on Rails
Demonstrable experience with Storybook/UI component unit testing and Git (GitHub)
Ability to work well independently without being micromanaged
Fluent in written and spoken English communication
