Job description

A fast-growing company creating a full-featured web-based controller platform or software that controls 3D Printers and CNC machines is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for continuously building the company’s web app and developing a mature code-base. The company is making complicated tools more accessible and user-friendly to help creative individuals bring their dreams to life. This is a great chance to work with leading industry experts and build exciting products.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Make the existing software more intuitive and user-friendly
  • Work with the support of senior engineer(s) to build new features to client spec
  • Ensure that the app is accessible and responsive across all browsers
  • Help translate vague machining concepts into simple UX

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • 2+ years experience working with React.js
  • 1+ year experience with Typescript, Three.js, and GraphQL
  • Experience building one or more websites
  • Extensive experience solving responsive UX problems
  • Some familiarity with the “maker” community (3D Printers/CNC machines) is nice to have
