Front-End Engineer

A fast-growing company building the next wave of innovative consumer-facing commerce products and experiences, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will join the early team and be responsible for the commerce experiences on creator sites. The startup is building an open web where creators can delight and build strong communities that will help them to sustain strong businesses. This will be a full-time, long term role that requires 6+ hours overlap between EST and PST.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build the infrastructure that powers the next generation of creator driven commerce experiences
• Be intellectually honest, ask big questions and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Have a significant impact on the company’s initial products
• Influence the technical vision and guide fellow engineers

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
• Prolific experience working with Typescript/JavaScript and React
• Prior experience working with creator or e-commerce companies is nice to have
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to work well in an individual as well as team environment
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
