Job description

A rapidly-growing startup that is committed to helping musicians take charge of their professional careers is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with the CTO and COO to develop, fine-tune, and improve the company’s mobile application. The company aims to simplify the financial aspects of the music industry, establish a new benchmark for financial transparency, and provide the foundation for independent music in the modern day. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are eager to work in a dynamic startup environment and build products from scratch. 

  

Job Responsibilities:


  • Build and design enjoyable experiences from the ground up
  • Direct the long-term technical foundation
  • Have a lasting influence on ardent creators and artists around the world
  • By conducting code reviews and testing, maintain code integrity and guarantee code quality


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Prolific experience working with React, JavaScript, and React Native
  • Some solid understanding of TypeScript, MongoDB, Node.js, and Express.js is desirable
  • Nice to have prior experience in React Native with Expo
  • Prior expertise in native mobile development is preferred
  • Work in front-end and back-end 80/20 splits
  • Ability to create a sophisticated feature from scratch 
  • Demonstrate a love of entertainment, music, and the arts
  • Display honesty in their deeds, choices, and interactions
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
