Job description

A U.S.-based company that is on a mission to develop a world-class platform for consumer brands to introduce credit card products, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for creating a market-leading, highly inventive embedded credit card product that offers users a smooth, convenient, and rewarding payment experience. The company is helping businesses to create credit card solutions for their most important clients in order to increase consumer engagement and loyalty. The company has managed to secure more than $133mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new things, thrive in uncertainty, and learn from failure
  • Design innovative goods that can scale to satisfy our expanding needs
  • Own and iteratively construct a dependable and enjoyable experience for customers, while working with stakeholders from product, data science, design, operations, compliance, and risk
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative and responsibility while proactively looking for solutions
  • When problems arise, investigate them thoroughly, try to discover a solution, and seek help from other engineers when required
  • Effectively collaborate and converse about difficult subjects with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Establish the foundation for technical projects' scope, design, and leadership so that early-stage products can develop and scale iteratively
  • Create engaging one-page applications using cutting-edge front-end frameworks like React
  • Work on issues in both the 0 to 1 level and the 1 to 10 stage
  • Together with other business leaders, develop technical plans to implement ambitious, data-driven growth objectives
  • Participate in developing the team's and the overall corporate effort's front-end technological roadmap
  • Make sure that the UI and back-end parts are dependable, secure, scalable, and usable

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer or other programming languages
  • 3+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React
  • Extensive experience working with React Native and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with SQL is desirable
  • Ability to effectively define business priorities, develop new investment opportunities, foresee potential pitfalls and risks, and have a strong technical background for the teams you lead
  • Must possess an entrepreneurial attitude and be self-motivated, creative, and action-oriented in demanding circumstances
  • Possess a passion for both your profession (developing things perfectly) and making a genuine difference in the world (developing the best things for the company and customers)
  • Excellent conversational and written English skills
