Job description

A U.S.-based company that is building a comprehensive platform that offers customers beautiful flower arrangements and exceptional customer service, is looking for a Front-End Developer. The developer will be tasked with extending the core features of the platform and fostering more collaborations. The direct-to-consumer eCommerce company is known for its focus on providing unique but better floral options. This position requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design and product teams to comprehend UI requirements 
  • Perform and complete front-end coding during development sprints to produce great, consistent UI
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to create an end-to-end solution
  • Develop in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and third-party libraries or frameworks such as jQuery and React

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer 
  • Extensive experience in HTML and CSS
  • Prolific experience in React.js, TypeScript, and HAML (template for Ruby on Rails)
  • Demonstrable experience in Git (GitHub)
  • Prior experience in Storybook/UI component unit testing
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
