Job description

A US-based company helping owners efficiently manage regular operations related to property management is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for solving the elemental issues in real estate sales, accounting, and maintenance coordination and collaborating closely with the other teams to address issues. The organization has successfully built a property management system that revolutionizes the world's largest asset class. This position requires 6 hours of overlap with the CT time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create beautiful and smooth interfaces with React and JSON
  • Write clear, concise, and readable code
  • Work with the back-end, design, and product teams to solve issues
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of site/app designs and convert them into the real, usable interfaces
  • Utilize multiple markup languages to write web pages
  • Perform regular site maintenance and optimization of web pages for maximum speed, scalability, and the best user experience
  • Maintain brand consistency
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Web Designers, Back-end Developers, Project Managers, and System Analysts to complete projects
  • Craft out solutions from both full specs and loosely-defined requirements
  • Maintain technical documentation, including tests, analytics, and troubleshooting

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Extensive knowledge of vanilla JavaScript and React
  • Experience with high-availability SaaS applications
  • Knowledge of Java, React, SCSS, MySQL, and AWS
  • Experience in GitHub peer reviews, Jira, and Slack
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Passionate about performance, testing, and a desire to learn new technologies
  • Be keen on continuous personal and technical improvement
  • Ability to strike the optimal balance between rigor and velocity
  • Embody empathy, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to think like a user
  • Good startup mentality with the readiness to solve big problems with a small team
  • Possess a strong work ethic and deep knowledge of browsers and their limitations
  • Proficiency in English
