Job description

An open-source technology platform for integrating live audio, video, and data communication, is looking for a Front-End Developer. The developer will work with different technologies and contribute to the platform development. The company’s end-to-end real-time communications solution has gained early adoption by a growing network of enthusiasts, builders, and contributors. This will be a full-time and long-term opportunity for candidates who want to build meaningful software solutions that work. It requires a minimum of 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer software to meet business needs, using a variety of languages, frameworks, and technologies
  • Successfully take up new features through the entire development lifecycle, working in collaboration with other teams to define, develop and test 
  • Document and participate in performance testing to make UI more efficient
  • Identify exciting opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and future challenges

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Proficiency in Typescript, Next.js, and React
  • Nice to have some experience with distributed systems, services, and database 
  • Understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility issues as well as the ability to debug
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for the best possible outcome
