Front-End/Back-End Engineer

A rapidly-growing company building an efficient training and gamification platform is looking for a Front-End/Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with building a mobile-first design to help users have a simple, engaging experience. The company’s app is used extensively by businesses and digital workers to engage with high-impact micro-content by leveraging a social, collaborative, and gamified tool. Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build and ship quality features
• Ensure the application’s high performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Identify and fix the bugs for applications 
• Design and build efficient, intuitive front-end and back-end applications 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end or back-end developer
• Knowledge of some PHP frameworks like Symfony
• Deep knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server and MySQL
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services and ElasticSearch
• Prior experience of Linux at the administration level
• Fluency in Spanish is desirable
