Job description

A US-based company that provides foreign-language dubbing services to clients in the television, film, video game, and advertising industries, is looking for a Front-End Application Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing remote collaboration solutions that enable customers to experience the studio-quality as a desktop application on Mac and Windows environments. For more than 30 years, the company has been supplying captivating content to prominent brands, corporations, and content creators all around the world. This is a rare opportunity for developers to work for a well-established company that promotes creative thinking and out-of-the-box solutions to conventional problems. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement and optimize top-tier software systems 
  • Willingness to work closely in a team with BA, product owners, and other stakeholders
  • Actively contribute to the development life cycle, from concept to release
  • Deploy new features and configure the already built ones
  • Write clean and scalable code based on product specifications 
  • Engage in all spheres of quality assurance and defect resolution
  • Develop reusable components used across products
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline implementations
  • Building and configuring embedded Linux systems and drivers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience developing desktop applications
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work across cross-platform desktop development for macOS and Windows
  • Fluent in written and spoken English 
  • Prolific experience working with programming languages C, C++, and Operating Systems - macOS and Windows
  • Nice to have experience in Linux device drives, Ubuntu and Gstreamer Framework 
  • Extensive experience with development tools such as Visual Studio, Pycharm, QtCreator, Protocol, QML, Boost, STL, WebSockets, SQL is required 
  • Prior experience in project management and version control systems Jira, GitHub, Subversion, Git, and project build systems such as CMake is desirable
