Job description

A U.S.-based consultation company that is recognized across the globe for its excellent performance improvement and value creation services, is looking for a Front-End Angular Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing Web Apps and Browser Extensions for the company’s flagship products. The company provides advice, leadership, and direction to businesses, agencies, as well as non-profits, effectively defines sustainable growth, and problem-solves. Candidates applying for the position should have the ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguity, with little to no supervision.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, optimize, and take complete ownership of software
  • Translate wireframes and designs into high-quality code
  • Write highly performative, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure applications deliver great performance, quality, and responsiveness
  • Identify and tackle technical bottlenecks; fix bugs
  • Take difficult technical and design decisions for AngularJS projects
  • Develop unit tests and application codes for AngularJS, Java Technologies, and RESTful Web Services
  • Collaborate with the internal team to maintain code quality, organization, and automation
  • Conduct performance tests, participate in code review and refactoring to improve app performance
  • Partake in feedback sessions to identify and understand user requirements
  • Collaborate with the development team to analyze technical debt and the need for new developments
  • Build prototypes/POCs and participate in training/knowledge-sharing initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience as a Front-End Engineer
  • Proficient in Angular 5+ framework
  • Experience designing and developing UI using AngularJS best practices
  • Experience adapting interfaces for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies
  • Excellent skills with writing JavaScript, CSS, SCSS, HTML, TypeScript, and Angular14
  • Previous experience Templating and developing product analysis tasks
  • Demonstrable experience implementing front-end and back-end applications with JavaScript
  • Practical knowledge of CSS3 and using browser events 
  • Hands-on experience with various data types such as arrays and objects, JSON, forms, closures, and modules
  • Sound understanding of cross-browser inconsistencies and responsive frameworks
  • Experience integrating third-party JavaScript libraries and frameworks like jQuery
  • Knowledge of and experience with maintaining security and versioning of the codebase
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for ready reference
  • Familiarity with post-launch optimization and beta/marketability tests (for POCs)
  • Great English communication skills
