Job description

A multi-stage international investment company that is revolutionizing the finance industry with its revolutionary products, is looking for a Data Analytics and Operations Associate. The selected candidate will be in charge of tackling complex tasks through problem-solving skills and analytical abilities. The US-based company offers a variety of funding strategies that are tailor-made to fit the needs of startups and other businesses in their growth cycle. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing portfolio of financial and performance data processes and platforms
  • Drive insights through analysis to create value at the organizations
  • Configure and maintain business and technical processes for receiving, integrating, and maintaining data from internal and external sources in warehouses and third-party data management platforms
  • Set up new processes to streamline existing ones to receive, manage, and report data using business requirements and needs of stakeholders 
  • Translate requirements into technical solutions and outputs while communicating with third-party vendors
  • Collaborate with Senior Managers of SODS to build, analyze, and create analytical reports to help understand business and team performance and increase the efficiency of business operations
  • Assist in building ML models and rules-based tools to augment investment team's (early stage and growth stage) deal sourcing and investing process
  • Help the BI team to validate and QC portfolio company and internal B Capital data sets and analysis
  • Work alongside platform and technology team leadership define the implementation of new software and technology systems
  • Work with the Platform, Investment, and Operations teams on ad hoc projects and requests

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years' experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, or related field
  • Deep understanding of venture capital and finance fields
  • Expertise in coding with languages like Python or Ruby
  • Professional experience of working with data visualization and analytical tools like Looker or Tableau
  • Proficiency in working on Excel
  • Ability to work with technologies like SQL
