Job description

A digital FinTech app that provides users with an all-access pass to digital banking, is looking for a Back-end Technical Lead. The selected candidate will be helping the company to build out a talented development team. The company integrates the lifestyle, banking, and e-commerce sectors into a single platform with their next-gen technology. The company has managed to secure fundings worth $7mn+ so far. This is a nice opportunity for developers to work with a well-established company and experience rapid career progression.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership and lead the back-end development
  • Improve back-end engineering operations by conducting system analysis and recommending changes
  • Build scalable software solutions
  • Design robust, secure, and scalable features 
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to upgrade technology stacks 
  • Write readable code and implement best coding practices 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Go, AWS, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL
  • Prolific knowledge of Redis, Dynamo, and Elasticsearch
  • Strong knowledge of microservices and APIs
  • Nice to have a solid understanding of Java, C++, Rust, and Python for data
  • Capable of functioning independently without any micromanagement
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
