How to become a senior MEAN stack developer
The MEAN stack development process involves the use of the following technologies: MongoDB, Expressjs, AngularJs, and NodeJS. MEAN stack developers are similar to JS-based application developers.
The MEAN Stack is a set of technologies that can be utilized to create a full-stack application. It is popular among developers due to its scalability, and the fact that it employs JavaScript makes it a perfect platform for those that like to use the language.
Since you are looking for resources for a senior MEAN stack developer, I am sure you are already a developer who loves coding.
What is the scope of MEAN development?
The MEAN family of technologies is a well-known and simple interface for creating dynamic applications and web pages. It supports you in constructing a simple, flexible, and open-source solution that has the potential to be extremely successful. It comes as no surprise that senior MEAN stack developers are in great demand and will remain so.
Being a senior Mean Stack developer is a difficult and in-demand career. You'll be a successful senior MEAN stack developer if you're eager to work on a diversified skill set and have experience with multiple code languages and applications.
What are the roles and responsibilities of a senior MEAN stack developer?
A JavaScript-based application programmer who works on the MEAN stack and has years of experience can become a senior Mean Stack Developer. Senior MEAN stack developers are responsible to manage and guide a team of junior developers. They work on the application's backend and front end, which are both JavaScript-based. A senior Mean Stack Developer should be well-versed with relevant programming languages.
Senior Mean Stack developers developers who manage front-end operations and back-end server programming using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Because they are in charge of all components of the application, they are sometimes known as "full-stack" web developers. The MongoDB database uses instructions that are comparable to javascript rather than javascript. As a result, full-stack Javascript web developers are commonly referred to as Senior MEAN stack developers.
A senior MEAN stack developer handles the following responsibilities:
- Create, test, and deploy web applications that are scalable.
- Create and administer fully functional relational and non-relational databases, both large and small.
- Identify and fix the application's bottlenecks.
- Create interactive code modules and user interfaces.
- Develop mobile-first and interactive UI components.
- Encourage the creation of scalable RESTful APIs.
- Take notes on peer reviews and make improvements comments.
- To peers and top-level stakeholders, provide thorough product concepts and roadmaps.
- Identify and execute creative techniques to make difficult design challenges easier to understand.
- To architect and deploy products, collaborate with product management and technical teams.
How to become a MEAN stack developer?
It all comes down to your own requirements. The first step is to examine both your current position in your profession and the industry in which you work. Based on your credentials and expertise, categorise yourself. As you work toward your goal of being a successful MEAN stack developer, this will help you create a realistic timeline.
Your previous work experience and educational credentials can assist you in making a smooth transfer. If you have advanced technical knowledge, the transition will be simple. The process will be simple for you if you have experience with both front-end and back-end development.
However, if you have never worked as a MEAN stack developer and have no prior experience with software development, learning to code will be difficult. In order to get a senior position, learn and upgrade your skills by enrolling in online courses or bootcamps.
Next, let us see the skills and methods to master in order to become a successful senior MEAN stack developer:

Skills required to become a senior MEAN stack developer
Here are the fundamental skills you need to learn:
1. MongoDB
It is a cross-platform open-source database featuring a key-value pair data type and support for binary data such as JSON. It also includes a document-oriented NoSQL database management system, which makes it perfect for applications that require big tables of data with millions of records. It's also easier to add fields to MongoDB than to change the entire table, and web apps can be created entirely in JavaScript.
2. Express.JS
It is a web application development framework that is lightweight, adaptable, and mature. It is meant to work in both single-page applications (SPAs) and classic web apps and provides support for both. This framework draws inspiration from Sinatra, a prominent Ruby framework, and leverages the Pug engine to enable templates.
3. AngularJS
AngularJS is a Google-maintained open-source JavaScript framework that attempts to bring MVC design to browser-based apps while also making development and testing easier. The framework allows you to modify the syntax of HTML to represent the components of your application, allowing you to construct a smarter online application with personalization capabilities. Angular features like dependency injection and data binding can help you avoid writing a lot of code.
4. Node.js
Node.js is a programming language that allows developers to create web servers and web applications. The non-blocking and event-driven I/O paradigm used by the server-side JavaScript execution environment makes it lightweight and efficient, making it ideal for data-intensive real-time applications that operate across several devices. Node.js has become the go-to application for running real-time applications that manage enormous volumes of data due to its ability to run on numerous platforms.
5. JavaScript
JavaScript is a programming language for web development that allows for dynamic, real-time information and multimedia as well as control over the browsing experience. Because code may be written directly into HTML and executed at run-time without any prior compilation, it's referred to as a scripting language. JavaScript code is also object-oriented, allowing front-end developers to design manipulable objects.
6. C++
C++ is a free-form, general-purpose programming language geared toward large systems and resource-constrained software. C++ is a programming language that may be used to create operating systems and applications. In C++, variables are highly typed, meaning they will only accept data of a specified type. The most significant benefit of C++ is that it is scalable and provides developers with a great deal of control over how their applications use resources.
