Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to brainstorm excellent software solutions
- Keep updated with the latest advancements in software development tools and programming processes
- Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform
- Integrate the Salesforce CRM with the Sage platform to accelerate revenue and improve business productivity
- Conduct software testing to ensure better speed, performance and responsiveness
- Ensure data security and integrity of the software
- Follow software development best practices and standards to develop functional databases, applications, and services
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of work experience as a Salesforce developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Deep knowledge and proven experience with Sage API integrations
- Proficient with Salesforce CRM platform
- Working knowledge of SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language), dashboards, VisualForce pages, SFDC, etc.
- Experience in handling complex business system integration
- Expert skills in English language for effective communication
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
- Knowledge of web services, inlcuding REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.
- Experience in handling accounting information, data security, synchronization, and risk mitigation
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organizational and project management skills
