Job description

A rapidly-growing disability and medical benefits representation organization on a mission to help the disabled get the financial assistance they deserve is looking for a Software Developer. The developer will be in charge of writing high-quality, efficient, and reusable code. The company assists people in traversing the bureaucratic procedure and effectively applying for and receiving disability and medical benefits. This is a nice opportunity for developers who are eager to support a noteworthy cause.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the back-end operations and ensure seamless data interchange between its servers and users
Develop and code server-side logic
Maintain the central database and respond to all requests from front-end developers
Analyze the application and website requirements
Use an optimized database to develop back-end portals
Troubleshoot application and code problems
Write back-end code and develop effective PHP modules
Integrate data storage solutions
Update and alter application features to increase performance
Finalize back-end features and test web applications

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a PHP developer
Proficiency in object-oriented PHP programming
Must be skilled in GitHub, JavaScript, AWS Repository, and PHP Spreadsheets
Prior experience in developing scalable applications
Must possess strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency in code versioning tools, including Git
Must be familiar with MySQL databases
Project management skills would be nice to have
Excellent conversational and written English communication skills
